Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian herbs
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Optional: grated parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Remove outer cabbage leaves and slice cabbage into thick round steaks (about 2 cm thick).
  3. Place steaks on a lined baking tray.
  4. Mix olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.
  5. Brush the mixture generously on both sides of each cabbage slice.
  6. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes until edges are golden and slightly crispy.
  7. Sprinkle parsley and parmesan on top before serving.
